Gangi Setty, founder of Green Tree Foundation, uses his biology background to promote sustainable agroforestry. He empowers farmers with resilient, community-based systems, aiming to combat deforestation and climate change while building a greener, sustainable future for rural communities.
Meda Chenna Krishna, Project Coordinator at Green Tree Foundation, holds an MBA and leads agroforestry projects with strong management skills. He coordinates training, manages resources, and works with farmers to advance sustainable agriculture and empower rural communities.
Deepthi, Agroforestry Specialist at Green Tree Foundation with a B.Sc. in Agriculture, trains farmers, leads workshops, and manages the seed bank and nursery. Her work enhances soil health, supports climate resilience, and aligns with GTF’s mission of restoration and livelihoods.
Pallavi, Community Engagement Coordinator at Green Tree Foundation, strengthens farmer relationships and leads digital outreach. She empowers women and youth through agroforestry and climate resilience training, fostering community participation and promoting sustainable practices for a greener, more inclusive future.
Veda Ganesh, Sustainability & Climate Expert at Green Tree Foundation, holds a B.Tech and is an NCC member. He advances climate action through land management, carbon sequestration, and conservation, linking science with fieldwork to support restoration and global climate goals.
With 15+ years of experience, Gangadhar leads GTF’s water conservation efforts through watershed activities and drip irrigation. His work rejuvenates degraded lands and empowers communities, supporting GTF’s mission of restoring ecosystems and strengthening rural livelihoods through regenerative, water-sensitive agroforestry models.
An M.Sc in Microbiology, Bhaskar coordinates farmer livelihood programs at GTF. He applies soil microbiology expertise to promote composting, biofertilizers, and regenerative practices, helping rejuvenate soils, boost crop resilience, and build sustainable, science-driven agroforestry models for rural livelihoods.

We are honored to welcome Jeffrey Follett to the Board of Advisory at Green Tree Foundation. With over 20 years of global experience in aviation risk and human-wildlife conflict management, Jeffrey has led projects across North America, Australia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. He has contributed to major infrastructure projects like Western Sydney Airport and Auckland International Airport, and served on leading expert committees. At GTF, Jeffrey advises on international strategy, bringing technical expertise, global perspectives, and a deep commitment to ecological safety and sustainability that strengthens our mission for climate resilience and agroforestry innovation.
Sridhar Pabbaraju, Vice President of Baldota Envirocare, brings over 30 years of environmental experience. He holds a Master’s in Environmental Sciences from Pune University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Management from the University of Hyderabad. His expertise covers compliance, sustainability, and innovative environmental solutions in waste management and pollution control. He advises on integrating advanced technologies and sustainable practices in agroforestry and climate resilience projects. Sridhar fosters partnerships across sectors, promoting science-driven solutions that balance environmental stewardship with economic growth, advancing the mission to empower farmers and restore ecosystems.
Prof. Y. Venkata Rao, an alumnus of Andhra University and Tezpur University, holds advanced degrees in Human Resource Management, Philosophy, Marketing, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration. With over 32 years of experience, he has taught in Central Universities, specializing in Tourism, HRM, and International Business at the postgraduate level.
At Green Tree Foundation (GTF), Prof. Rao serves as a valued Advisory Board Member, guiding the organization’s eco-tourism, academic linkages, and sustainability strategies. His vast expertise strengthens GTF’s mission of integrating responsible tourism, community-based livelihoods, and regenerative land use aligned with national and global environmental goals.
Douglas Barnes, a certified Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) holder, advises on integrating permaculture principles to strengthen agroforestry and climate resilience initiatives. He focuses on water-harvesting earthworks to drought-proof land and enhance soil health, crucial for sustainable farming in rainfed and semi-arid areas. His guidance promotes climate-appropriate, resilient design that restores degraded ecosystems while empowering local communities. Douglas emphasizes combining ecological design with traditional knowledge to create self-sustaining landscapes, ensuring long-term environmental and socio-economic benefits. Innes Park advises on vegan agriculture, guiding the adoption of plant-based, cruelty-free practices in agroforestry. With expertise in ethical farming, they promote soil regeneration, biodiversity, and sustainability without animal inputs.
