About Green Tree Foundation
Green Tree Foundation (GTF) is a grassroots initiative dedicated to restoring ecological balance while empowering farming communities. Through large-scale tree planting, agroforestry, and sustainable land-use practices, we help address climate change, enhance biodiversity, and improve rural livelihoods.
Our work goes beyond trees — we focus on soil health, water conservation, and innovative carbon credit models that generate income for smallholder farmers. Every tree we plant is a step towards a greener, more resilient tomorrow.
We are based in the Sri Sathya Sai District of Andhra Pradesh and proudly rooted in the communities we serve.

Agroforestry
We promote tree-based farming models that increase crop yields, restore soil, and bring income through long-term sustainability.
Soil & Water Conservation
We plant native and fruit-bearing trees in degraded lands, public spaces, and farms to improve biodiversity, shade, and livelihoods.
Carbon Credit
We help farmers benefit from the carbon market by tracking and monetizing their sustainable practices for global impact.
